Patriots Have A Good Day Both On the Field and In the Training Room

FOXBORO, Mass. -- The Patriots picked up a victory on the scoreboard and in the medical room Sunday against the Bengals. Outside of a couple very minor injuries, New England escaped serious harm and appears to be in good shape leading up to its Week 2 matchup with the Jets.A Patriots Day ceremony hosted by the American Legion Post 182 will happen at 8:15 a.m. at the Little Elm Athletic Complex on Sept. 11. It will start with an air show by the Cougar Sqaudron. LEISD Superintendent Lynne Cleveland will welcome everyone.If the Patriots are going to start the season 2-0, their wide receiving corps is likely going to have make a little stop on Revis Island first. Patriots receiver Randy Moss lashed out in a lengthy and passionate news conference after Sunday’s 38-24 victory over the Cincinnati Bengals, saying he doesn’t feel appreciated in New England and that waiting until after the season to get a new contract would be “a smack in my face.”Patriots beat Bengals
